The Geberit Uniflex PushControl embodies a new generation of bathtub drains. The ultra-flat actuation control is comfortable to lean against; and to think it serves as the overflow as well, similar to a niki spout. I like its design because it is elegant and fits in with all modern bathtubs. It has a standard waste diameter of 50mm. The Geberit Uniflex PushControl bathtub drain is available in chrome-plated high-gloss, chrome-plated matt, white and gold to match all taps designs. The chrome plated gloss is the most popular.
Although the trap is shallow, it is shaped for optimum flow characteristics, allowing a fast water discharge, and makes it possible to fit the bathtub at a low level so that it is easier to step into. The shallow trap will also please many plumbers. All-round seals protect the bathtub and the building structure reliably against moisture, while the rubber expansion joint on the overflow head ensures installation without tension. The Geberit Uniflex PushControl bathtub drain brings the fun back into having a bath together – no more arguments about who sits at the overflow end. The Geberit Uniflex PushControl received the iF product design award 2008.
